What is our Race?

The Identity of the true descendants

of Yisrael of today

Study by:

Yaakob Ha’Nasi

For years our brothers that are a part of the BHI better known today as the Black Hebrew Israelites have been asking unconscious brothers their nationality. The response almost always is “African American” or “Black”. This answer allows the brothers in the camps to educate the unconscious brothers on one of the most important things that a so-called negro can have and that is the knowledge of self. They educate these oblivious brothers by telling them that they are the children of Israel and that their nationality is “Israelite”. This is about the only thing that is true in their doctrine. The so-called Negroes in America today are in fact the direct descendants of the Ancient Hebrew Israelites.

The camps therefore refer to themselves as black Hebrew Israelites to emphasize the fact that the Jews of the bible are black. This is a great thing; however, having knowledge of the nation we come from is just the surface; now the question of our race needs to be addressed. In this study we will take the student a little deeper than the Black Hebrew Israelite camps and educate them on what exactly their race is. Before we get into this we will first address the complexity of nationality.

Nationality definition (Oxford Dictionaries)

1. The status of belonging to a particular nation.

In this context, the nationality of an Israelite can be argued as many of us today are born in the nation of America; however, the difference between the so-called Negroes of America who are the diaspora of Israel and the other immigrants of America is that, we were NOT brought here by our own will. We did not ask to be here. We were brought here by force on slave ships as slaves to help build this country. We were and still are esteemed as second-class citizens, and if we cannot be esteemed as first class citizens, we are not citizens at all. With that said, we are NOT citizens of America neither are we immigrants but captives that are being held captive.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu50:33

33 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

What about African? Are we African?

If we were African we would still be in Africa as 90% of Africa’s population are African with the other percent being Israelite and some other nations. Professor Windsor with his extensive knowledge in anthropology makes it very clear that the Israelites migrated into Africa seeking refuge and was eventually brought to the west coast and sold into slavery.

(Reference: From Babylon to Timbuktu pg.120-126)

The science and history of this fact also corresponds to the biblical evidence found in the Torah and the prophets.

Deuteronomy-Debarim Chapter 28:68

68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Note: Egypt in this specific context can be interpreted as “The house of bondage or slavery” or more specifically, "The Land of HAM" i.e (Africa).

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 17:4

4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

So, we are neither African nor American.

The term Israelite has two different meanings.

  1. Israelite-Yisraeli: an inhabitant of the land of Israel.

  2. Israelite-Yisraeli: a descendant of the great patriarch Yisrael (Yaakob)-Jacob.

Question: We know we are the descendants of Israel, but how are we inhabitants of Israel?

We are inhabitants of the land of Israel because the land was promised to us. It is simply our inheritance according to Elohim. It is also “Prophetically” our land as it is written, that we shall one day return to the land that the Most high promised to our ancestors.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 3:18

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Jeremiah-Yiremyahu 30:3

3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Ezekiel-Yekhezqel 34:13

13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country

Question: What is our race? Or more appropriately what is the race of the Israelites?

Most of our brothers who don’t know who they are will refer to themselves as being black or African. But there is no such thing as an African race nor a black race. African refers to the geographical location of where one resides that is in this case Africa; furthermore, the so-called African’s of today are descendants of Ham; NOT Shem and are NOT Negroes.

Zondervan Compact Bible Dictionary pg.213.

Ham: 1. the youngest son of Noah, born probably about 96 years before the Flood; and one of eight persons to live through the Flood. He became the progenitor of the dark races; not the Negroes, but the Egyptians, Ethiopians, Libyans and Canaanites (Gen. 10:6-20).

The only people referred to by the term Negro are the so-called black people (Israelites) living in America. Contrary to popular belief the term “negro” was a term that was eventually accepted by the lost sheep of the house of Israel due to a lack of knowledge of who they were. And because we didn’t know who we were, we decided to adopt titles for ourselves to give us a sense of racial pride. The term Negro has been used for our people since the end of the 19th century.

“Toward the end of the century, the word "Negro" began to supplant the words "colored" and "Afro-American." It was during this period that the first national Negro organizations (The American Negro Academy in 1897 and the National Negro Business League in 1900) were founded. The founding of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in 1909 marked, it seems, the disappearing peak of the colored movement”.

(Reference: What's in a Name? Negro vs. Afro-American vs. Black Lerone Bennett, Jr. Senior Editor, Ebony Magazine November 23, 1967: 46-48, 50-52, 54)

Black refers to a non-color type of shade. We must be careful when we call ourselves “black” as the term black is mostly associated with negative connotations. Literary and figuratively black can mean unclean or dirty, sleep or oblivious and death. For when one closes their eyes in death they see not or nothing but blackness; therefore, a black race can be referred to as a dead-asleep people that are unclean. In this context, one can also argue that black people are called black because they are oblivious to who they are. Another word for not knowing is “unknown” which can also be a figurative word for black.

Race differs from nationality.

Race definition (Oxford Dictionaries)

1. Each of the major divisions of humankind, having distinct physical characteristics.

So, race refers to major divisions of mankind while nationality refers to the belonging of a particular nation.

Question: Which race do we belong to according to the scriptures?

According to the Holy Scriptures, after the flood there had arisen three divisions of Mankind. These three divisions or better yet races are the Sons of Noah. Shem, Ham, and Yepheth. Noah perpetuated mankind through these three seeds.

Genesis-Bereshit 10:1

1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

Let’s break the genealogy down right quick to see where we come from.

Yisrael… who is Jacob, is the son of Isaac and Isaac is the Son of Abraham and Abraham is the son of Terah. These great patriarchs came from the race of Shem.

Genesis-Bereshit 11:10-26

10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: 11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19 And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23 And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Therefore, the children of Yisrael are from the race of Shem. We are Shemites or Shemitic.

The name Shem has two definitions:

“This etymology, however, is not universally accepted, as the word-play is so obvious, and the association of Japheth with Shem ("dark") and Ham ("black") suggests a name on similar lines--either gentilic, or descriptive of race.)

(Reference: International Standard Bible Encyclopedia –Yapheth)

Shem- Though generally regarded as meaning "Dusky".

(Reference: International Standard Bible Encyclopedia -Shem)

Dusky definition (Oxford Dictionaries)

1. Dusky- Darkish in color.

1.1 dated Used in euphemistic or poetic reference to black or other dark-skinned people.

Synonyms of dusky: dark-skinned, dark, olive-skinned, swarthy, ebony, black; tanned, bronzed, coppery, brown.

Therefore, Shem was a Dark-skinned man that produced a race of people of all different shades of brown. Unfortunately, in today’s society the Shemitic race which are now called Semitic are portrayed today as being white thus perpetuating the doctrine of White Supremacy in an attempt to remove our name from history. The descendants of Shem are who people call today “black” people or Negroes.

The second definition will come from the Strong’s Concordance.

Strong’s H-8035

Shem: “Name” oldest son of Noah. Word origins from shem meaning; a name.

MAKING A SOLID CASE FOR THE PIGMENTATION OF THE ISRAELITES:

In addition to all the evidence provided above that the Shemitic people are indeed dark-Brown, here are some biblical evidence that support that the Israelites of the Shemitic race were indeed a dark-brown people.

Yoseph Ben Yisrael (Joseph son of Israel) could not be recognized amongst the Egyptians who are definitely “Black” by his own brothers (the children of Israel).

Genesis-Bereshit 48:1-8

1 Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another? 2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die. 3 And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt. 4 But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him. 5 And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan. 6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth. 7 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food. 8 And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.

Yoseph’s wife “Asenath” was Egyptian which means his children were Half-Israelite and Half-Egyptian.

Genesis-Bereshit 41:45

45 And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Genesis- Bereshit 41:50

50 And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him. 51And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house. 52And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

Genesis-Bereshit 46:20

20 And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.

During the burial of one of our great ancestors Yaakob (Jacob), Yoseph along with his brethren (The children of Israel) were called Egyptians who are historically “black” and of course “Hamitic” i.e. Africans by other African’s called Canaanites who at that time inhabited the land of Canaan.

Genesis-Bereshit 50:7-11

7 And Joseph went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt, 8 And all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father's house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen. 9 And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company. 10 And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation: and he made a mourning for his father seven days. 11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abelmizraim, which is beyond Jordan

Notice: They were mixed in with some Egyptians as well.

When Ha’Emeth Elohim (The True God) first performed a wonder on Ha’Nabi Mosheh Ben Amram (The Prophet Moses son of Amram), his hand turned leprous white which implies that his hand was darker than before.

Exodus-Shemot 4:6-7

6 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. 7 And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.

Mosheh (Moses) was called an Egyptian which are “black” Hamites by midianites (Reuel’s-Jithro’s Daughters).

Exodus-Shemot 2:15-19

15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well. 16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock. 17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. 18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day? 19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.

On top of that Mosheh’s Ishshah (wife) was a Kushite which is an Ethiopian which would make his children part-Shemite and part-Hamite which are both brown skinned people, the Hamites being darker of course.

Numbers-Badmibar 12:1

1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

Exodus-Shemot 2:21-22

21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. 22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Exodus-Shemot 18:1-4

1 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt; 2 Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back, 3 And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land: 4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:

According to the Ketuvim (Writings) of the Holy Scriptures in the Songs of Solomon, the daughters of Jerusalem are described as “black”.

Songs of Songs (Solomon) -Shir Ha’Shirim (Shelomoh) 1:5-6

5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. 6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

The Hebrew word for Black is Shachor which means black.

Strong’s Concordance H-7838

Shachor: Adjective- properly, dusky, but also (absol.) Jetty -- black.

Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew-English Lexicon Pg.1007

Adjective- Black; of Skin (Songs of Solomon 1:5)

So, if the daughters or “Women” of Jerusalem are black then surely the children of those women are black. We cannot escape nor deny these facts.

Note: Songs of Songs (Solomon) -Shir Ha’Shirim (Shelomoh) 1:5-6  has also been interpret as referring to either Solomon himself or Solomon's' wife or lover; but this is a subject of debate til this day. The debate however does not diminish the truth of who we are but in fact strengthens it.

Now there are some who will question:

Why didn’t the study (midrash) use Job 30:30 or Jeremiah 14:2 to prove that the Israelites are black? And that is because these are NOT instances when the scriptures are describing the pigmentation of the Israelites. Let us examine!

Job-Iyob 30:30

30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

Our brothers, the Black Hebrew Israelites are making the same careless mistakes that the common pastor or preacher does in his theological teachings and that is they formalized certain doctrines based off of one verse without examining the context of scripture. A true student of scripture must not rely on these interpretations of man rather they must rely on the spirit of discernment from Elohim. In order for one to acquire understanding about this particular verse, they must ask themselves: Why is Job randomly telling the reader that his skin is black? What is the context of the situation? Is this a circumstance where he feels the need to tell the reader or whomever about his complexion? And once we read the passage in its proper context then the student will understand the true meaning of this particular verse. Let’s press forward to see the context by reading what was said before leading up to this verse.

Job-Iyob 30:15-30

15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.19 He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.20 I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.21 Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.22 Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.23 For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.24 Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor? 26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. 30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

After reading the passage in its proper context, it would be more than foolish to suggest that Job was taking about his race, color or ethnicity. It is very clear that Job is suffering of a near-fatal disease which was brought upon him by Elohim (God) for his testing. He is therefore describing the symptoms of what he’s going through. The Hebrew will confirm this truth as the terminology here is Shachar H-7835 instead of Shachor H-7838. The term Shachar is NOT a descriptive term because it is a verb and NOT an adjective. A verb gives action, so Job is NOT saying that his skin is descriptively black, yet he is saying that his skin is “becoming” black or has “become” black. His skin has been made black because of something and that something is obviously his disease.

Iyob-Job 30:18

18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

The disease is so harsh that it changed his garments and if it changed his garments then most likely it changed his skin in this case… black.

What further proves that he is suffering from a disease is the fact that he says that the days of his affliction had taken hold upon him.

Iyob-Job 30:16

16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me

In addition, the Israelite camps ignore what was said after Job says that his skin became black upon him.

Iyob-Job 30:30

30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

Job continues and further explains that not only has his skin “become” black but his bones are also burning with heat perhaps pain. This is referring to disease, not the natural complexion of his ethnicity. Burning sensations of bones are often present in diseases such as osteitis deformans known as Paget’s disease, Rheumatoid arthritis or Osteoarthritis. I am NOT diagnosing Jobs prior bone condition. I am simply giving examples of diseases that show similar symptoms which somewhat corresponds to Job’s prior condition. We do NOT know for sure what type of disease Job had during the days of his afflictions just the pain that he experienced. Diseases didn’t have names at that time anyway.

Job also said something about his bones being pierced at the beginning of the passage.

Iyob-Job 30:17

17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

Job is saying that his bones feel like they are digging through his skin and the pain of this gives him no rest at night or the pain is constant; therefore, it does not rest. It is therefore safe to conclude that Job is NOT describing the color or his ethnicity rather he is describing the affliction of his disease. This is not to denote the race and or ethnicity of Job as he appears to be from the land of UZ and is therefore a Shemite of Edom which we already know to be a brown people; however, I am simply emphasizing the fact that in this particular context; Job is not saying he is black but is saying he is sick.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 14:2

2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

This is another instance where the Israelite camps read the verse out of context. We will read what was said after this to determine its proper context.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 14:2-12

2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.3 And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, [and] found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.4 Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.5 Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook [it], because there was no grass.6 And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because [there was] no grass.7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou [it] for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.8 O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man [that] turneth aside to tarry for a night? 9 Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man [that] cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, [art] in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.10 Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. 11 Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for [their] good. 12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

So again, when we read in context, we see that Jeremiah is NOT talking about the people of Judah being black but describing the condition of Judah due to their sins. The Hebrew will confirm this as the terminology in this language reads qadar H-6937 and NOT shakhor H-7838 (black). Qadar means “Mourning”, it is figurative in nature.

Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew-English Lexicon Pg. 871:

"Figurative of mourning (probably be squalid, of neglected person and dress of mourner, compare 2 Samuel 19:25) Jeremiah 8:21; Jeremiah 14:2 metaphor of gates)."

Furthermore; black in this context which is the Hebrew qadar is a verb and NOT an adjective. Judah is NOT “descriptively” something but are “actively” something which is of course in this specific case, mourning or crying. Jeremiah already tells the reader that Judah is mourning in verse 2 of chapter 14.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 14:2

2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

He continues and say they are black as in “mourning” unto the ground and concludes that the cry of Judah has gone up meaning that the cry of Judah has been heard from afar even by Elohim (God).

Further evidence is given in verses 3 and 4 that Judah was in fact mourning because they were confounded and ashamed possibly due to their iniquities.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 14:2-4

3 And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, [and] found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.4 Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.

The covering of the head in this context was a sign of mourning and grief.

Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew-English Lexicon pg.341:

"Khaphah H-2645: to cover in token of grief 2 Samuel 15:30; Jeremiah 14:3, 4;"

David also covered his head in 2 Samuel 15:30 as a token of grief because he was mourning.

2 Shemuel-Samuel 15:30

30 And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

So unquestionably, Ha’Nabi Yiremeyahu (The Prophet Jeremiah) was saying that Judah was mourning. He was NOT saying that they were black people as there was no need to. Therefore; the subject in Jeremiah 14:2 is not about the race or color of Judah but about the mourning and sadness of Judah.

I have also seen this verse used in an attempt to prove that the children of Yisrael are black.

Y’shayahu-Isaiah 29:22

22 Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

This is another instance when the Black Hebrew Israelites are incorrect regarding the context of scripture. If we are to take this particular verse literal as in the house of Jacob face not becoming white, then we must take this scripture literal as well.

Jeremiah-Yiremeyahu 30:6

6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

All faces cannot turn white in real life. Should we therefore take this verse literal? Of course not!

The Holy Scriptures are both literal and figurative and it is ultimately up to the student of these scriptures to do his/her due diligence to determine which parts are figurative and which parts are literal. The BHI Israelite camps don’t really support nor respect the mentality of the independent reader or learner as this type of learner cannot be conformed to the doctrines that they teach.

The Hebrew for pale in this particular context does NOT mean white as in white people. The Hebrew Khavar H-2357 is NOT an adjective (Descriptive term) but a verb (Active term) and means to grow or become white because of shame or fear. Khavar occurs only one time in the Hebrew bible.

Strong’s Definition:

Khavar- A primitive root; to blanch (as with shame) -- wax pale.

Pale Definition (Oxford Dictionaries):

1. Become pale in one's face from shock or fear.

So, as we can clearly see Isaiah 29:22 is NOT dealing with color or race yet it is dealing with shame, shock or fear.

Furthermore, Isaiah is speaking in reference to the restoration or sanctification of the children of Israel when we read the passage in its proper context.

Context: Y’shayahu-Isaiah 29:18-24

18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: 21That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.22 Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. 23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.24 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Question: Why would Isaiah randomly mention that the children of Israel faces won’t turn white?

This is way out of context and has nothing to do with skin color or race. The Prophet Isaiah is simply saying that the children of Israel faces shall no longer show shame or fear anymore. If the Prophet Y’shayahu Ben Amotz (Isaiah) wanted to say “white”; instead of using the Hebrew “Khavar” which means to grow pale with shock or fear, he would have used the descriptive Hebrew term “Laban”H-3836 which means “white”. This term however, is scarcely used when describing people in the scripture if it is used at all but is more frequently used in the Torah when describing some form of Leprosy or sickness of the skin and head.  (See Wayikra-Leviticus chapters 13 and 14).

Due to a lack of education on figurative language, etymology and semantics, the Black Hebrew Israelite camps teach their own interpretations of scriptures and give them their own meaning. These gross “misinterpretations” of scriptures leads one further away from the truth. It is because of this great error that the teachers and followers do NOT have an accurate understanding of the Holy Scriptures. It is by these misinterpretations of scriptures that they misunderstand what the Prophets were really trying to say.

Question: What about Hebrew? What makes us Hebrew?

The terminology Hebrew derives from our great ancestor Eber Ben Shelach who is first presented in Sepher Bereshit that is the book of Genesis chapters 10, 11 and then later mentioned in Divre Ha’Yamim or the 1 Chronicles chapter 1.

Genesis-Bereshit 10:21

21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were [children] born.

It was by this forefather Eber that our great ancestor (Abram) Abraham Ben Terach (Father of the Children of Yisrael) came into historic existence as the genealogy records:

Genesis-Bereshit 11:10-26

10 These [are] the generations of Shem: Shem [was] an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: 11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 18And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 21And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23nd Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Ekhad Divre Ha’Yammin-1 Chronicles 1:17-23

17 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech. 18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber. 19 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan. 20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 21 Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah, 22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 23 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Ekhad Divre Ha’Yammin-1 Chronicles 1:24-27

24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, 25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26 Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27 Abram; the same is Abraham.

Strong’s Concordance: Hebrew from Eber

Hebrew H-5680: Ibri- Perhaps a descendant of Eber, also another name for an Israelite.

Eber H- 5677: Eber- “Region Beyond”, a descendant of Shem, also the name of several Israelites.

Word Origin: From Abar H-5674- Alienate

Meaning to region beyond the Jordan and to alienate as to separate or to make holy.

The term Hebrew however; was mentioned also in early times of the bible to separate the Hebrews from foreigners. The terminology Israelite did not come until later, after the children of Jacob-Israel were born. Jacob was first called Israel in the book of Genesis. After which his offspring became known as the children of Israel.

Bereshit-Genesis 32:28

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

The terminology Hebrew cannot be defined as a race or ethnicity because it is established in the book of genesis that the races of mankind are Shem, Kham, and Yepheth. Hebrew then would have to be acknowledged as a clan of that particular race which in this case is Shem. Therefore, the term Hebrew refers to a clan and NOT a race or ethnicity. Hebrew is NOT a nationality because the term has nothing to do with being a part of any nation. There is no nation by the name of Hebrew. During the times that our ancestors were acknowledged as Hebrews they were a nomadic people. They traveled from place to place and lived in tents and did NOT have a set inheritance of land and was not formally recognized as a nation.

Furthermore; the terminology Hebrew is a much vaster term to use because it is not necessarily a term exclusive to the Israelites but relates to all the other descendants of Eber.

Bereshit-Genesis 10:25-30

25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one [was] Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name [was] Joktan. 26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah, 28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these [were] the sons of Joktan. 30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east

Genesis-Bereshit 11:16-26

16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23nd Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Ekhad Divre Ha’Yammin-1 Chronicles 1:19-23

19 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan. 20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 21 Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah, 22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 23 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Ekhad Divre Ha’Yammin-1 Chronicles 1:25

25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26 Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27 Abram; the same is Abraham.

All of the children that come after Eber are Hebrews. This includes all the children of Abraham, Lot and so forth in so on.

Example: Ishmael is a Hebrew because he is a son of Abraham who is a descendant of Eber.

Bereshit-Genesis 16:3-11

3And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. 5And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. 6But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.7And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. 8And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. 9And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. 10And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.11And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou [art] with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

Example: Both Esau and Jacob are Hebrews because they are the sons of Isaac who is the son of Abraham who is the descendant of Eber.

Bereshit-Genesis 25:24-28

24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, [there were] twins in her womb. 25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. 26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac [was] threescore years old when she bare them.27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob [was] a plain man, dwelling in tents. 28And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of [his] venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Example: The ammonite and the Moabites are Hebrew because they are the sons of Lot who is the son of Haran who is the brother of Abraham which makes him his nephew. They were both descendants of Eber.

Bereshit-Genesis 19:36-38

36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. 37 And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same [is] the father of the Moabites unto this day. 38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same [is] the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

So, when one says they are Hebrew they have to be specific. To which type of Hebrew are you? Are you a Hebrew from the nation of Edom? Are you a Hebrew from the nation of Moab or Ammon? Or are you a Hebrew from the Nation of Israel or Judea? This would be the only time that Hebrew and Israel would be appropriate. If someone asks an Yisraelite: are you a Hebrew? A good response would be: Yes, I am a Hebrew from the nation of Yisrael or Judea. But if someone asks: What is your Nationality? A good response would be: I am a Yisraelite/Yisraeli/Judean, NOT Hebrew… Why? Because Hebrew is not a Nationality, it is a clan.

If someone asks: What is your race? The most sensible answer would be: Shemite and NOT Black, Hebrew, nor Israelite as these are not affiliated with race but clans and nationality except black. The term black is an ethnic slur that was placed upon us in captivity. We must therefore conclude that it is not appropriate to use the terminology “Black Hebrew Israelite” when referring to the race or nationality of the children of Israel.

Note: The same applies with our race of Shem. Hebrews aren’t the only clan from Shem. There are many Shemites in the world. Hebrew is NOT exclusive to Shem.

We are NOT Black Hebrew Israelites, we are more both accurately and appropriately Shemitic Israelites or Judeans from the Hebrew clan of Eber, biblically known as the Children of Yisrael and Affectionately known in the scriptures as the people of Elohim (God).

Below is the “complete” identity of the so-called “Blacks” of America and those other Yisraeli or Israelites/Judeans which are scattered across the globe:

Primary Biblical Identification: The Children of Israel

Aliases: Yeshurun, Sharon, Jacob, Elect, God’s people, God’s chosen, Judeans or the Jews etc.…

Note: The term Jew was used later in our history for the southern Kingdom of Judah and was eventually adopted as somewhat of a universal name for the people of Israel and is recognized as such by most people today that are not educated on this topic.

Yehudi or Jew actually comes from Yehudah or Judah H-3063, which is one of the twelve tribes of Israel and means: “Praised”. Nevertheless, technically “Jew” is not a nationality nor a race and is therefore inappropriate to use when referring to the race of the Children of Israel. However, in reference to nationality, the term “Judean” can also be use because that deals with a geographical location (Judea) in which we are from. Judea was a province called by the romans which means land of the Jews or land of Judah or the Jehudite. Eventually the term “Jew” or “Judean” became universal for any Israelite dwelling in Judea.

The false title “Jewish” comes from the Hebrew-German word “Yiddish” which is mostly used by Ashkenazi’s Jews. Ashkenazi Jews are not the true descendants of Israel neither are they from the tribe of Judah. They are simply European “Religious Converts” that are from the countries of Poland, Armenia, Turkey (Research Khazzar Empire for details...), Russia and Germany ergo the Hebrew-German word “Jewish or Yiddish”. The Ashkenazi’s are from the race of Yepheth. The term Ashkenazi comes specifically from one of the descendants of Yapheth named Ashkenaz.

Bereshit-Genesis 10:2-3

2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

These “Europeans” which by this time were “Converts” and practitioners of Judaism more appropriately Rabbinic Judaism, a religion created after Christianity and Islam in the 6th century was established by the United Nations as the State of Israel and were “given” citizenship to Palestine (Israel) in the year of 1948 and have been masquerading as the Jews ever since. The Sephardic Jewish people are the same except they are “Spanish” converts from the true Jews that migrated to Spain ergo the term “Sephardi”. Their form of Hebrew is called “Ladino”; a combination of the Spanish language and Hebrew language mixed together. Yet the etymologies of both terms “Ashkenazi” and “Sephardi” are both modern and does not correspond to our ancestors that migrated to Europe and Africa. We were never known to the nations nor have our ancestors ever referred to themselves as Ashkenazi nor Sephardi Jews. These are titles added by the Europeans that converted to our heritage, customs and laws which later became a religion to them.

The people that live in the land of Israel today besides the Ethiopian Jews (Beta Yisrael) and the Jews of Dimonah, are what the scriptures call “Strangers” better known as foreigners. These foreigners are mostly composed of Europeans and Palestinians (Arabs). The Palestinians (Arabs) conquered Israel years ago during the Islamic conquest in 640 CE and later by the Christians during the crusades in 1095 CE, while the descendants of (Europeans) migrated to the land in 1948, a migration that was delegated by the United Nations and not God. These European converts are known today as the Ashkenazic and Sephardic Jewish society.

This was a fulfillment of Prophecy:

Ekha-Lamentation 5:2

2 Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

Y’shayahu-Isaiah 1:7

7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

Yekhezqel-Ezekiel 7:20-24

20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them. 21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. 22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it. 23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. 24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

For such a time, the world as we know it including the intellectuals have accepted the lie of the Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jewish society of Europe, pretending to be the Jews; But now the Spirit of the True Elohim has come upon his true children. He has awakened the real diaspora and we now know who we are and soon the world will know when the children of the promised are gathered together.

For it is written in the book of the prophet Y’shayahu (Isaiah):

Y’shayahu- Isaiah 61:9

9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
